The hotel was totally renovated in 1998. It is
situated in the nerve centre of the Rampa and is only a few meters from the Malecón, and a wonderful view of the bay.
It is one of the most emblematic hotels in the city and boasts the best views
of the same. It has 574 rooms, and Senior Suites and a Presidential
Suite. The 25th floor offers something special with the 'Sierra
Maestra' Panoramic Salon and the
nightclub/discotheque 'Turquino' fitted with a mobile roof that opens to a splendid view of the
Caribe. Plus it has 3 Bars & 6 Restaurants. The hotel is fully air
conditioned and all rooms have bathroom, direct telephone, mini bar,
safe deposit box and Satellite TV.
With snack bar and Cuban cocktails the massive outdoor pool provides the perfect place to unwind after a hard days sight seeing.
During your two week stay we are offering 21 hours of dance classes,
featuring all the Cuban Rhythms and will be given by our team of expert Cuban
teachers. If you have never danced Salsa before don't worry,
this is the
perfect opportunity for you to learn and have fun at the same time! We will visit Santa Maria
Beach with it's miles of golden sand, where you can relax and swim in
the wonderful blue ocean. There will also be a morning trip to Old Havana with it's market place & restaurants. also information on excursions to
museums and places of interest, depending on the needs of the group going on this trip. There will
be beach parties and we will coordinate nights out to the best Night Clubs
with Live Bands.
If you would like us to arrange Cuban dance partners for you on your evenings
out to Night Clubs, Taxi Dancers are available. (please note all escorts are personally known to us and this is quite normal for
Cuba, and we can guarantee they will dance your socks off!).
The price of this holiday is £1,299 per person with a £250 single supplement.
We can try to match you up with other singles on the
trip to help avoid the single supplement.
